- Provide high-quality care to pediatric patients in the GI, Hepatology, and Nutrition department.
- Utilize expertise in gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition to assess and treat patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and document patient progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, nutrition, and medication instructions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations.
- Participate in continuing education and training to stay current with best practices and advancements in pediatric gastroenterology, hepatology, and nutrition.
- Serve as a role model for excellence in patient care and customer service.

Current Lpn License: The First And Most Important Qualification For This Role Is Possession Of A Current And Valid Lpn License From The State In Which The Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Is Located. This Ensures That The Candidate Has Completed The Necessary Education And Training To Practice As An Lpn.
Experience In Gastroenterology, Hepatology And Nutrition: A Thorough Understanding Of The Digestive System, Liver Diseases And Nutritional Needs Is Essential For An Lpn Working In This Specialty. Therefore, Prior Experience In This Area Is A Key Qualification For This Job.
Knowledge Of Pediatric Care: The Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Focuses On Providing Specialized Care For Children, So It Is Important For The Lpn To Have A Good Understanding Of Pediatric Care.
