Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is looking for an experienced Lead Data Visualization Specialist to join our team and help us bring data to life through stunning visualizations. As our Lead Data Visualization Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and maintaining visualizations that accurately communicate our data in a compelling manner. We are looking for someone who is passionate about data analytics and has a creative eye for turning data into meaningful stories.We are looking for someone with a high level of experience in data visualization, as well as in software development, programming, and data visualization tools. The ideal candidate for this role should have excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that our data visualizations meet our business needs. Additionally, you should have a keen eye for detail, an understanding of user-centered design principles, and a strong commitment to developing innovative visualizations.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, create, and maintain accurate data visualizations that effectively communicate the data.
  2. Collaborate with data scientists, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure data visualizations meet business needs.
  3. Develop innovative data visualizations.
  4. Utilize data visualization software and programming tools to create visualizations.

  6. Understand user-centered design principles and have a keen eye for detail.
  7. Stay up to date with the latest data visualization trends and techniques.
