  1. Monitor and maintain the functionality and performance of all information systems within Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to information systems, hardware, and software.
  3. Develop and implement strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of information systems.
  4. Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify and implement solutions for system integration and interoperability.
  5. Conduct regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security protocols and regulations.
  6. Provide technical support and training to end-users on new systems and upgrades.
  7. Perform regular backups and disaster recovery procedures to ensure data integrity and availability.
  8. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in information systems technology to make recommendations for improvement.
  9. Work closely with vendors and external partners to maintain relationships and ensure timely and effective resolution of issues.
  10. Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
  11. Document and maintain procedures and protocols for system maintenance and troubleshooting.
  12. Collaborate with other team members and departments to identify, plan and execute projects to improve information systems.
  13. Communicate effectively with all levels of staff, including technical and non-technical individuals.
  14. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as industry standards and regulations.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures to optimize system performance and user experience.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Information Technology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Systems Engineering, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Networking, Operating Systems, And Database Management.

  • Experience With Virtualization Technologies And Cloud Computing.

  • Ability To Communicate Effectively With A Diverse Team Of Technical And Non-Technical Colleagues, As Well As External Vendors And Stakeholders.
