  1. Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients with endocrine conditions in an inpatient setting.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' endocrine conditions and develop appropriate care plans based on their individual needs.
  4. Monitor and manage patients' conditions, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing patient education.
  5. Communicate effectively with patients and their families to ensure they have a clear understanding of their condition and treatment plan.
  6. Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner using electronic medical records.
  7. Stay up-to-date on current research, best practices, and treatment options in pediatric endocrinology.
  8. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of evidence-based protocols and guidelines.
  9. Serve as a resource and mentor to other healthcare professionals, including nurses and students, to promote a culture of learning and excellence in endocrine care.
  10. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards of practice.
  11. Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following infection control and safety protocols.
  12. Actively participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other educational and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  13. Provide support and guidance to patients and their families throughout their hospital stay, addressing their physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs.
  14. Advocate for patients and collaborate with their families to ensure their voices are heard and their needs are met.
  15. Promote a positive and compassionate work environment that values diversity, inclusivity, and teamwork.

Job Qualifications
  • Current Licensure As A Registered Nurse And Advanced Practice Nurse In The State Of Pennsylvania.

  • Master's Degree In Nursing From An Accredited Program With Specialization In Endocrinology, Or Equivalent Experience.

  • Current Certification As A Nurse Practitioner By A National Accrediting Organization (Ancc, Aanp, Etc.)

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner In An Inpatient Endocrinology Setting.

  • Strong Clinical Skills And Knowledge In Pediatric Endocrine Disorders, Including Diabetes, Thyroid Disorders, And Growth And Puberty Disorders.
