We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Infection Prevention Observer to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for our patients, families, and staff.   • Conduct regular and systematic observations of patient care areas and identify potential infection risks
  • Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and guidelines
  • Monitor and report on compliance with hand hygiene, personal protective equipment, and environmental cleaning practices
  • Educate and train staff on proper infection control procedures and protocols
  • Conduct audits and investigations as needed to identify and address potential infection control issues
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest infection control practices and guidelines, and make recommendations for improvements as needed
  • Communicate any infection control concerns or issues to the appropriate personnel and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of infection control activities
  • Participate in the development and implementation of infection control policies and procedures
  • Assist with the preparation and response to potential outbreaks or infectious disease incidents
  • Work closely with other members of the infection control team to promote a culture of safety and infection prevention throughout the hospital.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Nursing, Public Health, Or Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Infection Prevention And Control In A Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Cdc Guidelines And Best Practices For Preventing And Controlling Infections.

  • Certification In Infection Control (Cic) Preferred.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Educate And Train Staff On Infection Prevention Protocols.
