  1. Provide high quality medical care to pediatric patients in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
  2. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and medical histories.
  4. Diagnose and treat various medical conditions, and order appropriate diagnostic tests and procedures.
  5. Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans.
  6. Educate patients and their families on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
  7. Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
  9. Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff.
  10. Attend and participate in departmental meetings, trainings, and educational opportunities.
  11. Keep up-to-date with advancements in pediatric medicine and incorporate evidence-based practices into patient care.
  12. Adhere to ethical and legal standards of the medical profession.
  13. Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards patients and their families.
  14. Uphold the mission and values of the hospital and contribute to a positive and supportive work culture.
  15. Maintain a professional demeanor and represent the hospital in a positive light at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Medical Degree From An Accredited Institution: A Qualified Candidate For This Position Must Have Completed Medical School And Hold A Doctor Of Medicine (Md) Or Doctor Of Osteopathic Medicine (Do) Degree From A Reputable Institution.

  • Residency And Board Certification In Pediatrics: Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia Specializes In Pediatric Care, So A Physician Applying For A Job At This Hospital Should Have Completed A Residency Program In Pediatrics And Be Board Certified In The Field.

  • Experience Working With Children: This Position Requires A Physician Who Is Comfortable And Knowledgeable In Working With Children Of All Ages, From Infants To Adolescents. Previous Experience In A Pediatric Setting Is Highly Desirable.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills: As A Physician At Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia, The Candidate Will Be Working Closely With Patients, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals. Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For Building Relationships And Providing High-Quality Care.

  • Valid State Medical License And Dea Registration: The Candidate Should Possess A Valid Medical License To Practice In The State Of Pennsylvania And Be Registered With The Drug Enforcement Administration (Dea) To Prescribe Medications. This Ensures That The Physician Is Legally Authorized To Practice Medicine And Prescribe Medications In The Hospital.
