Job Description

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced Home Care Accounts Receivable Supervisor to join our dynamic team. The Home Care Accounts Receivable Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the Home Care Accounts Receivable Department to ensure compliance with all regulatory, financial and operational standards. The ideal candidate for this role will possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare accounts receivable, experience in a supervisory role, and have a strong working knowledge of accounting principles and experience with accounting software programs. The successful candidate must also possess excellent communication and organizational skills, be highly motivated and have the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.We are looking for an individual who is both innovative and proactive with a commitment to excellence and a dedication to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with all regulatory, financial and operational standards of the Home Care Accounts Receivable Department.
  2. Ensure accuracy of all accounts receivable activities, including billing, collections, and customer service.
  3. Monitor and manage the performance of the Accounts Receivable staff to ensure goals are met and department objectives are achieved.
  4. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and controls to ensure the accurate and timely processing of payments and billing transactions.
  5. Investigate and resolve any customer complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  6. Monitor accounts receivable aging and develop strategies for improving collections.
  7. Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  8. Provide regular reports to management on accounts receivable performance.
  9. Maintain current knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
  10. Provide mentorship and training to Accounts Receivable staff.
