Job Description

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is looking for an experienced Histocompatibility Specialist to join our team and help us reach our mission of providing exceptional care to our patients. Our Histocompatibility Specialist will be responsible for performing laboratory tests, managing tissue typing, and interpreting results in order to facilitate transplantation and provide superior patient care. This position requires an individual who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about helping others.The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Immunology, or a related field, as well as a minimum of two years of experience in histocompatibility testing or a related field. They should also have a strong understanding of biology and immunology principles as well as excellent communication skills. Furthermore, the ideal candidate must be able to work independently, as well as collaboratively, and provide quality results in a timely manner.We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing excellent patient care and has the skills and experience to make a positive impact on the lives of our patients. Responsibilities:
