Job Description

The Grants Writer - Infectious Diseases and Rheumatology at Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia is an integral role in ensuring the success of our critical research and clinical programs. We’re looking for an experienced, passionate, and highly organized individual to join our team. We are looking for a candidate with experience in grant writing and a proven ability to develop and manage multiple projects in a timely and effective manner. The ideal candidate should have a background in grants management, with the ability to plan, write, and coordinate grants and contracts for our organization. The candidate must also be adept at communicating complex scientific concepts and data to both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and submit grant proposals to potential funders for research and clinical initiatives.
  2. Research and identify new grant opportunities.
  3. Create and manage grant budgets.
  4. Monitor and evaluate grant progress and outcomes.
  5. Prepare grant progress reports.
  6. Maintain grant records and files.
  7. Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure grant objectives are met.
  8. Collaborate with other departments to ensure grant objectives are met.
  9. Establish and maintain a system for tracking and managing grants.
  10. Develop and implement grant-related policies and procedures.
