Job Description

Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is currently seeking an experienced and highly organized Grants & Contracts Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and a passion for helping children.The Grants & Contracts Specialist will be responsible for providing administrative and financial management for grants, contracts, and other related activities. This position requires a working knowledge of research administration, demonstrated experience working with sponsors, and a strong understanding of financial compliance. This is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant and passionate team that is dedicated to providing the best care for children.To be considered for this position, the successful candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field, have at least two years of grant management experience, and be proficient in Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities of the Grants & Contracts Specialist:

-Provide administrative and financial management for grants, contracts, and other related activities -Have a working knowledge of research administration and demonstrated experience working with sponsors -Demonstrate a strong understanding of financial compliance regulations, and knowledge of the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia policies and procedures -Maintain accurate records and documentations related to grants and contracts -Manage the preparation of grant and contract reports -Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with sponsors -Monitor and track grant and contract deadlines -Work with the Finance department to ensure financial compliance -Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy and consistency -Prepare and submit proposals for new grants and contracts -Provide support to other departments with grant and contract related tasks -Stay abreast of industry trends and changes in regulations -Promote a collaborative and positive work environment.
