Job Description

At Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, we strive to provide the best patient care possible. We are currently searching for a GMP Instrument Specialist to join our team and help us meet this goal. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that GMP instruments are properly maintained and calibrated in accordance with established standards.The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in GMP instrument maintenance and calibration. We are looking for an experienced professional with a strong eye for detail and a passion for ensuring that all GMP instruments are in peak condition. A proven track record of success in a similar role is a must.We seek a professional with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The GMP Instrument Specialist will be required to interact with a diverse range of personnel, so the successful candidate should have the ability to establish positive working relationships.If you think you have the qualifications and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure that all GMP instruments are properly maintained and calibrated according to established standards.
  2. Develop and implement procedures for calibrating and maintaining GMP instruments.
  3. Perform regular inspections and troubleshooting of GMP instruments.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all GMP instruments and their calibration history.
  5. Provide training and guidance to other personnel on the proper use and maintenance of GMP instruments.
  6. Develop and implement preventative maintenance plans for all GMP instruments.
  7. Respond to emergency repair and maintenance requests in a timely manner.
  8. Monitor and review instrument performance to ensure optimal functioning.
  9. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with a diverse range of personnel.
  10. Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
