
Global Patient Services Intake Coordinator

- Greet and welcome international patients and their families with warmth and empathy.
- Serve as the primary contact for all inquiries and requests from international patients and their families.
- Conduct initial intake assessments to understand the unique needs and requirements of each patient.
- Collect and review all necessary medical and personal information from patients and their families.
- Coordinate with various departments and teams within the hospital to facilitate the admission process for international patients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with international referral partners and agencies.
- Provide guidance and support to patients and their families throughout their entire stay, from initial contact to discharge.
- Ensure all necessary documentation and paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with insurance companies and third-party payers to verify coverage and obtain necessary authorizations.
- Keep detailed records of all patient interactions and maintain confidentiality at all times.
- Serve as a cultural liaison between international patients and the hospital staff to ensure a culturally sensitive and inclusive experience.
- Monitor and track patient satisfaction and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on international healthcare regulations and policies.
- Contribute to the development of processes and protocols to improve the overall patient experience for international patients.
- Uphold the mission and values of the hospital and promote a positive and welcoming environment for all patients and their families.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Social Work, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In Patient Services Or Intake Coordination.
Knowledge Of Medical Terminology And Insurance Policies.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Interact With Diverse Patient Populations.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Multitask In A Fast-Paced Environment.
