Job Description

At Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, we are committed to providing the best possible care for our pediatric patients. We are currently seeking an experienced, passionate, and caring General Pediatric Hospitalist to join our team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a strong commitment to excellence in pediatric healthcare and a desire to make a positive impact in the lives of children.We require the successful candidate to possess a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree, be board-certified/board-eligible in Pediatrics, and have at least two years of experience in pediatric hospital medicine. The successful candidate should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.This is an excellent opportunity to join a world-renowned healthcare organization and help positively shape the lives of children in our community.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-quality pediatric healthcare services to patients in the hospital setting.
  2. Monitor and assess patients' conditions to ensure proper treatment and disease management.
  3. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  4. Educate patients and families about pediatric healthcare topics and treatments.
  5. Maintain accurate and timely medical records to ensure appropriate care.
  6. Work closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure patient safety and satisfaction.
  7. Utilize evidence-based practice guidelines to provide best practice care.
  8. Remain current on new medical advances and treatment options.
  9. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures related to patient care.

Job Qualifications
  • Board Certified/Eligible In Pediatrics

  • Current Pennsylvania Medical License
