Job Description

In this role, you will use your expertise in revenue cycle management and knowledge of Epic systems to analyze and optimize our revenue cycle business processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well with a diverse team.   1. Conduct thorough analysis of CHOP's revenue cycle business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  2. Utilize knowledge of Epic systems to optimize revenue cycle workflows and procedures.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and clinical departments, to implement process improvements.
  4. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of healthcare revenue cycle operations and industry trends.
  5. Communicate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to gather feedback and ensure alignment with business goals.
  6. Train and educate staff on new processes and procedures, providing ongoing support and guidance.
  7. Monitor and track key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of implemented changes.
  8. Identify and address any issues or roadblocks in revenue cycle processes, proposing solutions to leadership.
  9. Stay up-to-date on relevant regulations and compliance requirements related to revenue cycle management.
  10. Continuously seek opportunities for further optimization and enhancement of revenue cycle processes.
  11. Serve as a subject matter expert on revenue cycle processes and Epic systems.
  12. Contribute to the development and implementation of strategic initiatives to improve financial operations at CHOP.
  13. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations and guidelines.
  14. Collaborate with external partners and vendors, as needed, to support revenue cycle operations.
  15. Uphold CHOP's core values and mission of providing exceptional care to patients and families.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Revenue Cycle Management, Preferably In A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Strong Knowledge Of Epic Revenue Cycle Modules, Including Resolute Hospital Billing, Professional Billing, And Claims.

  • Excellent Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Identify And Resolve Revenue Cycle Issues.

  • Experience In Project Management And Leading Cross-Functional Teams To Implement Revenue Cycle Process Improvements.
