  1. Provide technical expertise and support for all aspects of the Epic Ambulatory system.
  2. Collaborate with clinicians, staff, and other IT professionals to identify and resolve system issues and optimize workflows.
  3. Develop and implement training programs for end-users on the Epic Ambulatory system.
  4. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and advancements in healthcare technology to ensure the hospital remains at the forefront of innovation.
  5. Work closely with project teams to design, test, and implement system upgrades and enhancements.
  6. Conduct regular system audits and make recommendations for improvements and efficiencies.
  7. Serve as a subject matter expert on Epic Ambulatory system functionality and workflows.
  8. Troubleshoot and resolve escalated issues in a timely manner.
  9. Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation and provide after-hours support as needed.
  11. Assist with system testing and validation for new implementations and upgrades.
  12. Maintain strong relationships with vendors and other external partners to ensure smooth operation of the Epic Ambulatory system.
  13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory guidelines, in the use and management of the Epic Ambulatory system.
  14. Act as a liaison between clinical end-users and IT teams to facilitate effective communication and understanding of system needs.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance the overall user experience with the Epic Ambulatory system.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Computer Science, Health Information Management, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Working With Epic Ambulatory Systems, With A Focus On System Configuration And Optimization.

  • Epic Ambulatory Certification Or Proficiency In Multiple Epic Modules.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Lead And Manage Large-Scale Projects Related To Epic Ambulatory System Implementation Or Upgrades.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Interdisciplinary Teams And Provide Training And Support To End-Users.
