Job Description

At Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Education Nurse Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing education and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals throughout the hospital. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs to ensure that all nursing staff are up to date on the latest care practices.The successful candidate will have a nursing degree, experience in a related field, and an in-depth knowledge of nursing practice and patient care. The ideal candidate will be passionate about patient care and will have excellent communication and organizational skills. The ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes is essential.If you have a strong commitment to providing the highest quality of patient care, this position offers the opportunity to join a dedicated team of professionals in making a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Provide education and support to nursing staff and other healthcare professionals throughout the hospital.
  2. Develop and implement educational programs to ensure that all nursing staff are up to date on the latest care practices.
  3. Utilize excellent communication and organizational skills to ensure successful implementation of educational programs.
  4. Work both independently and collaboratively to achieve desired outcomes.
  5. Maintain an in-depth knowledge of nursing practice and patient care.
  6. Monitor patient care practices to ensure they are being followed.
  7. Provide the highest quality of patient care.
  8. Remain up to date on the latest developments in nursing education.
