  1. Develop and maintain effective partnerships with families, staff, and community organizations to support the goals of the Early Head Start program.
  2. Oversee the implementation and evaluation of program services, ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations and standards.
  3. Manage a team of Early Head Start staff, providing supervision, training, and support to ensure high-quality services and positive outcomes for children and families.
  4. Collaborate with other departments within the hospital to identify and address the needs of families with young children.
  5. Develop and implement strategies to engage families in their child's early learning and development, including parent education and involvement opportunities.
  6. Monitor and track program data, including enrollment, attendance, and child outcomes, to inform program planning and improvement.
  7. Serve as a liaison between the Early Head Start program and community partners, advocating for the needs of children and families and promoting the program's services.
  8. Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring responsible stewardship of resources and compliance with funding requirements.
  9. Stay current with best practices and research in early childhood development and community engagement, incorporating new knowledge into program design and implementation.
  10. Demonstrate a commitment to anti-bias and anti-racism principles in all aspects of program planning and service delivery.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Social Work, Human Services, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working With Low-Income Families And Community Organizations.

  • Knowledge Of Early Head Start Regulations And Guidelines.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With Diverse Stakeholders.

  • Experience In Program Planning And Evaluation, Budget Management, And Grant Writing.
