Welcome to Children's Hospital of Philadelphia! We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual to join our team as the Director of School Partnerships. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining partnerships with local schools to promote the health and well-being of children in our community. We are looking for someone with a strong background in education and experience working with diverse populations to ensure that all children have access to quality healthcare.   1. Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for building and maintaining partnerships with local schools.
  2. Collaborate with school administrators, teachers, and staff to understand their specific needs and how the hospital can support them.
  3. Identify and prioritize opportunities for collaboration and partnership with schools in the community.
  4. Serve as a liaison between the hospital and schools, facilitating communication and coordinating initiatives.
  5. Create and deliver presentations and trainings to school staff and students on relevant health topics.
  6. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of school partnerships and make recommendations for improvement.
  7. Manage a team of school outreach coordinators and provide guidance and support in their efforts to engage with schools.
  8. Develop and manage a budget for school partnership initiatives.
  9. Stay informed on current trends and best practices in education and healthcare to inform partnership strategies.
  10. Represent the hospital at community events and meetings to promote the importance of school partnerships in promoting child health and wellness.
  11. Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations related to school partnerships.
  12. Collaborate with other departments within the hospital to identify and implement opportunities for collaboration with schools.
  13. Maintain positive relationships with key stakeholders, including school leaders, community organizations, and government agencies.
  14. Continuously seek out new and innovative ways to engage with schools and improve the overall health and well-being of children in our community.
  15. Act as an advocate for the hospital and its mission to promote child health and well-being through school partnerships.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 7 Years Experience In Educational Leadership Or School Partnerships, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Pediatric Setting.

  • Bachelor's Degree In Education, Healthcare Administration, Or Related Field. Master's Degree Preferred.

  • Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Healthcare And The Unique Needs Of Children In A Hospital Setting.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Build And Maintain Relationships With School Partners.

  • Demonstrated Experience In Developing And Implementing Strategic Partnerships And Initiatives, With A Focus On Education And Community Outreach.
