Job Description

The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking an experienced and dedicated Diabetes Consult Nurse Practitioner to join our team. You will be responsible for providing care to pediatric patients with diabetes and for educating families on diabetes-related issues. We are looking for an individual who possesses a passion for helping children with diabetes and their families, as well as a commitment to providing excellent medical care. Our ideal candidate will have experience as a Diabetes Consult Nurse Practitioner in a pediatric setting, a Master's degree in Nursing, and be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania. If you have a strong interest in providing quality care to pediatric patients with diabetes, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities: • Provide direct care to pediatric patients with diabetes • Educate families on diabetes-related issues • Monitor patient's progress and adjust treatments as needed • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients • Communicate with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care • Utilize evidence-based practice and current research to guide patient care • Participate in quality improvement initiatives • Document patient care accurately and completely in the medical record • Attend and participate in team meetings and educational programs • Adhere to all applicable regulations and guidelines

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Nursing

  • Unrestricted License To Practice As A Nurse Practitioner In Pennsylvania

  • At Least Two Years Of Experience As A Nurse Practitioner

  • Knowledge Of Diabetes Management
