  1. Manage the credentialing and privileging process for healthcare providers at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
  2. Ensure that all providers are properly credentialed and meet regulatory requirements.
  3. Maintain accurate and up-to-date provider files.
  4. Communicate with providers to obtain necessary documentation and information for credentialing.
  5. Coordinate with various departments to complete the credentialing process in a timely manner.
  6. Monitor and track the status of provider applications and communicate any delays or issues to relevant parties.
  7. Review and verify credentials, licenses, and insurance information for accuracy and completeness.
  8. Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and accreditation standards related to credentialing.
  9. Collaborate with the Quality and Safety team to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  10. Serve as a resource for providers and other staff on credentialing policies and procedures.
  11. Participate in ongoing education and training to stay updated on industry best practices.
  12. Communicate with external agencies and organizations to verify provider credentials and privileges.
  13. Assist with audits and surveys related to credentialing processes.
  14. Identify and report any potential issues or areas for improvement in the credentialing process.
  15. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive information.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field.

  • At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Credentialing And Privileging Within A Hospital Or Healthcare Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Joint Commission Standards And Regulations Related To Credentialing And Privileging.

  • Strong Organizational Skills And Attention To Detail In Maintaining Accurate And Up-To-Date Credentialing Records.
