1. Develop and implement an inventory management system for all CPD (Central Processing Department) instruments and equipment.
2. Ensure accurate and timely tracking of all instrument inventory, including repair and maintenance records.
3. Collaborate with various departments to identify and prioritize instrument needs and ensure adequate supply levels.
4. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure instruments are in proper working condition and meet all safety and quality standards.
5. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of new instruments and equipment.
6. Train and educate staff on proper handling, storage, and maintenance of instruments to maximize their longevity and efficiency.
7. Monitor and manage instrument usage and ensure proper allocation to different departments and units.
8. Create and maintain detailed records of instrument usage and inventory levels for reporting and analysis purposes.
9. Proactively identify and resolve any issues with instrument availability, functionality, or maintenance.
10. Work closely with CPD Manager and other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving instrument inventory management processes.
11. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to instrument inventory management.
12. Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
13. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that aligns with the hospital's mission and values.
14. Assist in budget planning and cost management related to instrument inventory and maintenance.
15. Perform any other duties as assigned by the CPD Manager or hospital administration.
