- Develop and implement an inventory management system for all CPD (Central Processing Department) instruments and equipment.
- Ensure accurate and timely tracking of all instrument inventory, including repair and maintenance records.
- Collaborate with various departments to identify and prioritize instrument needs and ensure adequate supply levels.
- Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure instruments are in proper working condition and meet all safety and quality standards.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of new instruments and equipment.
- Train and educate staff on proper handling, storage, and maintenance of instruments to maximize their longevity and efficiency.
- Monitor and manage instrument usage and ensure proper allocation to different departments and units.
- Create and maintain detailed records of instrument usage and inventory levels for reporting and analysis purposes.
- Proactively identify and resolve any issues with instrument availability, functionality, or maintenance.
- Work closely with CPD Manager and other team members to develop and implement strategies for improving instrument inventory management processes.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices related to instrument inventory management.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work culture that aligns with the hospital's mission and values.
- Assist in budget planning and cost management related to instrument inventory and maintenance.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the CPD Manager or hospital administration.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Supply Chain Management, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Inventory Management, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Understanding Of Cpd (Central Processing Department) And Sterile Processing Operations.
Knowledge Of Inventory Control Systems And Best Practices For Maintaining Accurate Inventory Levels.
Excellent Organizational And Problem-Solving Skills, With The Ability To Prioritize And Manage Multiple Tasks In A Fast-Paced Environment.
