
Clinical Supervisor - Behavioral Health

- Provide clinical supervision to a team of clinicians, ensuring that they adhere to best practices and deliver high-quality care to patients.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of individual clinicians, providing feedback and support as needed.
- Develop and implement training programs for new and existing staff to ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to provide exceptional care.
- Collaborate with other members of the Behavioral Health team to establish and maintain treatment protocols and standards.
- Oversee the scheduling and coordination of patient appointments, ensuring efficient and timely delivery of services.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to all confidentiality and privacy policies.
- Serve as a liaison between the Behavioral Health team and other departments within the hospital to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
- Participate in meetings and committees to contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to patient care.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the department.
- Stay current on industry trends and advancements in behavioral health to inform and improve our practices.
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment that promotes teamwork, open communication, and professional growth.
- Serve as a role model for the team, demonstrating compassion, empathy, and a commitment to providing exceptional care to children and families.
- Handle any escalated patient or staff concerns with professionalism and in accordance with hospital policies.
- Collaborate with human resources to recruit, hire, and train new staff members.
- Represent the Behavioral Health department in meetings with hospital leadership and external partners.
Graduate Degree In Psychology, Counseling, Or Social Work From An Accredited Institution.
Active License In The State Of Pennsylvania As A Clinical Psychologist, Licensed Professional Counselor, Or Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience Providing Clinical Supervision In A Behavioral Health Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices And Treatment Modalities For Children And Adolescents With Behavioral Health Disorders.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Mentor And Support A Team Of Behavioral Health Clinicians.
