- Coordinate and manage clinical research studies related to pediatric rheumatology, ensuring all protocols and regulations are followed.
- Work closely with a team of physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure efficient and effective execution of research projects.
- Develop and maintain relationships with study participants and their families to ensure compliance and retention in the study.
- Act as a liaison between the study team and external research partners, including pharmaceutical companies and regulatory agencies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of study data, including enrollment, adverse events, and protocol deviations.
- Ensure study compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including HIPAA and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
- Assist with the development and implementation of study protocols, including participant recruitment and informed consent.
- Conduct study visits and procedures according to protocol and document results accurately.
- Collaborate with the study team to identify and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the course of the research.
- Continuously monitor the progress of the study and provide regular updates to the study team and principal investigator.
- Participate in study team meetings and contribute to the development of research strategies.
- Maintain an understanding of current research trends and developments in pediatric rheumatology to contribute to the advancement of the field.
- Demonstrate compassion and empathy towards study participants and their families, ensuring their needs are met throughout the research process.
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of study participants and team members.
Knowledge Of Good Clinical Practice (Gcp) Guidelines And Regulations.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Biology, Life Sciences, Or Nursing.
Experience Working In A Clinical Research Setting, Preferably In The Field Of Rheumatology.
Strong Organizational And Time-Management Skills To Effectively Manage Multiple Research Studies And Meet Deadlines.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team And Interact With Patients And Their Families.
