- Oversee and manage all aspects of clinical research studies within the Division of Neurosurgery.
- Develop and maintain relationships with study sponsors, investigators, and research team members.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and institutional guidelines for conducting clinical research.
- Coordinate and schedule study participant visits, tests, and procedures.
- Collect and maintain accurate and complete study data and ensure timely data entry.
- Collaborate with the research team to develop study protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of study protocols and regulatory documents to institutional review boards.
- Monitor study progress and ensure timely completion of study milestones.
- Communicate study updates and results to study sponsors and investigators.
- Train and supervise research staff, including study coordinators and interns.
- Handle and resolve any issues or concerns that may arise during the course of the study.
- Manage study budgets and ensure appropriate allocation of resources.
- Maintain accurate and organized study records and documentation.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current on regulatory and industry changes.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of new research initiatives within the Division of Neurosurgery.
- Uphold the mission and values of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia in all aspects of the role.
- Act as a liaison between study participants and healthcare providers, providing support and assistance as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all aspects of clinical research.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of study participants at all times.
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment within the Division of Neurosurgery.
Bachelor’s Degree In A Related Field Such As Biology, Neuroscience, Or Healthcare Administration.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research, Preferably In A Neurosurgery Or Pediatric Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Clinical Research Regulations And Guidelines, Including Fda Regulations And Good Clinical Practice (Gcp).
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Coordinate And Manage Multiple Research Projects Simultaneously.
Experience Working With Children And Families, As Well As Demonstrated Sensitivity And Understanding Of The Unique Needs Of Pediatric Patients.
