- Plan and coordinate clinical research studies focused on adolescent health in collaboration with the Adolescent Medicine team.
- Develop and maintain relationships with study participants, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure smooth operation of research activities.
- Manage all aspects of the research process, including participant recruitment, informed consent, data collection, and analysis.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of research activities, including data entry and management.
- Collaborate with the research team to develop and implement study protocols and procedures.
- Monitor and track progress of research studies and report any issues or concerns to the principal investigator.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including IRB protocols and Good Clinical Practice guidelines.
- Train and supervise research assistants and other team members involved in the research process.
- Communicate effectively with study sponsors, funding agencies, and other stakeholders to provide updates on research progress and findings.
- Stay current with advancements in adolescent medicine research and incorporate new techniques and methodologies into existing studies.
- Act as a liaison between the research team and the hospital's institutional review board, providing necessary documentation and reports as needed.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of research strategies and goals.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines and ethical standards in all research activities.
- Represent the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia at professional conferences and meetings related to adolescent medicine research.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the hospital's mission and values, with a strong desire to improve the health and well-being of adolescents.
Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Nursing, Public Health, Or Health Sciences.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Clinical Research, Preferably In The Field Of Adolescent Medicine.
Knowledge Of Research Methods And Regulations, Including Good Clinical Practice (Gcp).
Excellent Organizational And Communication Skills, With The Ability To Work Independently And Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team.
Experience Working With Adolescent Patients And Their Families, With A Strong Understanding Of The Unique Challenges And Ethical Considerations In Conducting Research With This Population.
