Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Research Assistant to join the Rheumatology team at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). The Clinical Research Assistant will be responsible for supporting the research team in the coordination and implementation of research projects. The ideal candidate will have a passion for conducting research in a pediatric setting and a desire to improve the lives of children and their families.The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare field, as well as at least one year of experience in clinical research. They must also have a strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team. Knowledge of regulatory processes related to clinical research is highly desired. Most importantly, the ideal candidate will have a commitment to excellence and a dedication to providing safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to pediatric patients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate and implement research projects in a pediatric setting
  2. Monitor the progress of research studies and ensure compliance to all regulatory processes
  3. Collect, compile, analyze, and interpret data
  4. Document research findings and prepare reports for submission to management
  5. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of research activities
  6. Assist with the development and implementation of research protocols
  7. Assist with the development of patient education materials
  8. Provide excellent customer service to research participants
  9. Assist with the recruitment and enrollment of study participants
  10. Maintain a safe and comfortable environment for research participants

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field

  • Strong Organizational

  • Minimum Of Two Years Of Clinical Research Experience

  • Previous Experience In Rheumatology
