  • Perform laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently under the direction of a medical technologist or supervisor
  • Prepare samples for testing and ensure proper labeling and storage
  • Maintain laboratory equipment and troubleshoot any issues that arise
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Keep detailed records of tests performed and results obtained
  • Communicate effectively with medical staff and other team members to ensure timely and accurate processing of samples
  • Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and keeping track of expiration dates
  • Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as regulatory standards
  • Participate in ongoing training and education to stay current with laboratory techniques and advancements
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families by answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and caring manner
  • Collaborate with other departments and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Medical Laboratory Science Or A Related Field

  • Certification As A Medical Laboratory Technician Or Clinical Laboratory Assistant

  • Previous Experience In A Clinical Laboratory Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Hospital

  • Familiarity With Laboratory Equipment And Procedures, Including Specimen Collection And Handling

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Maintain Accurate Records And Documentation
