
Clinical & Biospecimen Research Coordinator
At Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, we are seeking a Clinical & Biospecimen Research Coordinator to join our research team. The Research Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination of clinical and biospecimen research studies. This individual should have a strong understanding of the regulations and principles of clinical research and be able to apply them to the research studies assigned. We are looking for an individual with an aptitude for problem-solving and excellent organizational and communication skills. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a science-related discipline or equivalent experience, at least one year of experience in clinical research, and familiarity with regulatory requirements. We are also looking for an individual with an unwavering commitment to excellent customer service and the ability to work well in a team environment. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate clinical and biospecimen research studies in accordance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor research studies to ensure compliance with regulations and protocol.
- Maintain and update research databases.
- Develop and implement strategies for recruiting and retaining study participants.
- Communicate with study participants and research team members to coordinate research activities.
- Manage research study budgets and track expenditures.
- Develop and distribute materials related to research studies.
- Ensure the accuracy and completeness of research data.
- Monitor and evaluate the progress of research studies.
- Provide excellent customer service to research team members and study participants.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the research team.
