Job Description

At Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), we are looking for a highly motivated and organized Clinical Administrative Associate to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with an eye for detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, customer-service oriented environment.The Clinical Administrative Associate will be responsible for providing administrative support to a variety of clinical departments, including maintaining patient schedules, managing patient records, and interacting with hospital staff and families. To be successful in this role, you must possess a strong commitment to helping others, a strong attention to detail, and a passion for customer service.Required qualifications for this position include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field, a minimum of two years of experience providing administrative support in a clinical setting, and strong computer skills. Additionally, you must be able to work independently, demonstrate excellent time-management skills, and maintain a professional and positive attitude in all interactions.

Responsibilities:

  1. Maintain patient schedules, records, and other administrative duties
  2. Interact with hospital staff and families in a professional and positive manner
  3. Provide administrative support to a variety of clinical departments
  4. Demonstrate excellent time-management skills
  5. Ensure customer service is provided in a timely and efficient manner
  6. Respond to inquiries in a timely and accurate manner
  7. Update and maintain patient databases
  8. Assist with special projects as needed
  9. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies
  10. Monitor and report on performance metrics
  11. Participate in training and development opportunities to stay up to date with industry trends and best practices
