  1. Provide safe and effective anesthesia care to pediatric patients during surgical procedures.
  2. Administer anesthesia, monitor vital signs, and adjust medication dosages as needed.
  3. Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare team members to develop individualized treatment plans for each patient.
  4. Educate patients and their families about anesthesia procedures and potential risks and side effects.
  5. Ensure all equipment and supplies are properly maintained and available for use.
  6. Monitor patient's recovery from anesthesia and provide appropriate interventions as needed.
  7. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations, related to anesthesia administration.
  8. Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative progress notes.
  9. Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with advances in pediatric anesthesia.
  10. Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and sensitivity towards patients and their families, especially during difficult or stressful situations.
  11. Act as a patient advocate, ensuring their needs and preferences are considered in all aspects of care.
  12. Communicate effectively with colleagues, patients, and their families, providing clear and concise explanations and addressing any concerns or questions.
  13. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes and promote a positive work environment.
  14. Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all interactions.
  15. Serve as a role model for best practices in pediatric anesthesia care.

Job Qualifications
  • Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Crna In A Pediatric Setting.

  • Valid Crna Certification From The National Board Of Certification And Recertification For Nurse Anesthetists (Nbcrna).

  • Current And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Pennsylvania.

  • Advanced Knowledge And Proficiency In Pediatric Anesthesia Techniques And Protocols.

  • Excellent Communication Skills And Ability To Work Collaboratively With Interdisciplinary Teams To Provide High-Quality Patient Care.
