- Provide exceptional occupational therapy services to pediatric patients at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for each patient.
- Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques to help children improve their physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities.
- Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to determine the specific needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure carryover of therapy techniques in the home environment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of treatment sessions and progress of patients.
- Continuously evaluate and modify treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal progress.
- Stay up-to-date on current trends, research, and best practices in pediatric occupational therapy.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

Associate's Degree In Occupational Therapy Assistant Program: A Minimum Of An Associate's Degree From An Accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program Is Required For This Position.
Certification From The National Board For Certification In Occupational Therapy (Nbcot): The Candidate Must Be A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Through The Nbcot To Be Considered For This Position.
Pediatric Experience: The Ideal Candidate Will Have Experience Working With Pediatric Patients, Either Through Clinical Rotations Or Previous Work Experience.
Knowledge Of Pediatric Conditions And Treatments: A Strong Understanding Of Pediatric Conditions And Treatments Related To Occupational Therapy Is Necessary For This Position.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: The Ability To Effectively Communicate With Children, Their Families, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For A Successful Certified Ot Assistant At Children's Hospital Of Philadelphia.
