The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is looking for an experienced Certified Medical Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide quality patient care and support to our healthcare professionals while ensuring a positive experience for our patients.To be a successful candidate, you must have a current certification as a Medical Assistant, at least one year of experience in a pediatric or clinical setting, and have excellent communication and organizational skills. You must also be able to multitask and prioritize effectively.If you are looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our patients and their families, then this is the role for you!

Responsibilities:

  1. Assist healthcare professionals in providing quality patient care
  2. Greet and welcome patients and families in a friendly and professional manner
  3. Obtain patient vitals, medical history, and other relevant information
  4. Maintain patient records and manage patient information
  5. Prepare and administer medications as directed
  6. Perform basic laboratory tests and other diagnostic procedures
  7. Assist with patient exams and treatments
  8. Maintain a clean and orderly environment
  9. Ensure patient safety and comfort
  10. Follow safety protocols and HIPAA regulations
  11. Answer phones and respond to inquiries
  12. Schedule and coordinate patient appointments
  13. Monitor supply inventory and order supplies as needed
  14. Participate in continuing education and training programs to stay up to date with industry trends.
