Job Description

The Center for Health Equity at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is seeking a passionate and dedicated Program Coordinator to help us reach our mission of addressing the health disparities in our community. The Program Coordinator will be responsible for managing and coordinating all of our programs, initiatives, and projects to ensure our goals are met. This individual should be highly organized, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and have a commitment to our mission.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g. public health, social work, public policy, etc.) or equivalent experience, 3+ years of relevant experience in the health field, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate all of CHOP's programs, initiatives, and projects to ensure goals are met.
  2. Develop plans to ensure that mission goals are achieved.
  3. Create and manage timelines for all programs, initiatives, and projects.
  4. Develop effective communication strategies to ensure all stakeholders are informed.
  5. Monitor progress and evaluate program effectiveness on an ongoing basis.
  6. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure successful implementation of projects.
  7. Provide training and support to program staff.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  9. Track budget and expenditures related to programs and initiatives.
  10. Generate reports and analyze data to inform decisions.
