- Develop and maintain the hospital's annual budget, including revenue and expense projections.
- Monitor and analyze financial data to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and other stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the finance team to create and implement financial strategies and goals.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses to inform decision-making and resource allocation.
- Identify and implement cost-saving measures without sacrificing the quality of care.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies.
- Prepare and present financial reports and analyses to senior management and board of directors.
- Proactively identify potential financial risks and develop contingency plans.
- Continuously monitor and review budget performance and make recommendations for adjustments as needed.
- Assist in the development and review of grant proposals and funding requests.
- Contribute to the development of long-term financial plans and forecasts.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in budgeting and financial analysis.
- Train and mentor junior members of the finance team.
- Demonstrate a commitment to the hospital's mission and values through all financial decisions and actions.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or Related Field
Minimum Of 3 Years Of Experience In Budgeting And Financial Analysis
Strong Understanding Of Healthcare Finance And Reimbursement Principles
Proficient In Financial Modeling And Data Analysis Using Excel Or Other Software
Excellent Communication And Presentation Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Communicate Complex Financial Information To Non-Financial Stakeholders
