  1. Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on medical equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety for patients.
  2. Keep accurate records of all equipment maintenance and repairs, including dates, services performed, and any necessary follow-up actions.
  3. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, utilizing technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to find solutions.
  4. Collaborate with other members of the medical team to identify equipment needs and provide recommendations for new or updated equipment.

  6. Follow all safety protocols and regulations when working with medical equipment, including proper handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
  7. Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
  8. Clearly communicate with other departments and staff regarding equipment status, maintenance schedules, and any potential issues that may affect patient care.
  9. Participate in training and educational opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in the biomedical field.
  10. Demonstrate a strong commitment to patient care and safety, and uphold the values and mission of Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
