  1. Conduct bioinformatics analysis of complex biological data to support research and clinical initiatives.
  2. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate bioinformatics methods and tools into ongoing projects.
  3. Develop and maintain databases and software pipelines for the organization and analysis of large datasets.
  4. Stay current with advancements in bioinformatics and apply new techniques and technologies to improve research outcomes.
  5. Communicate findings and results to colleagues, stakeholders, and external audiences through presentations, reports, and publications.
  6. Work with clinical and research teams to identify and prioritize key research questions and data analysis needs.
  7. Support the development and implementation of new bioinformatics workflows and protocols.
  8. Ensure data integrity and quality control measures are in place and adhered to.
  9. Collaborate with external partners and participate in collaborative research projects.
  10. Train and mentor junior team members on bioinformatics techniques and tools.
  11. Adhere to all regulatory and ethical standards in handling and analyzing sensitive data.
  12. Actively contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
  13. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.
  14. Represent the organization at conferences, workshops, and other events related to bioinformatics.
  15. Maintain accurate and organized records of all analyses and results.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 3 Years Experience Working In A Bioinformatics Role, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Research Setting.

  • Strong Proficiency In Programming Languages Such As R, Python, And/Or Perl, As Well As Experience With Bioinformatics Tools And Databases.

  • Demonstrated Ability To Analyze And Interpret Large Datasets, And Experience With Statistical Analysis And Data Visualization.

  • Familiarity With Current Bioinformatics Techniques And Methods, With A Focus On Genomics And/Or Clinical Applications.
