Job Description

We are currently seeking a passionate and driven Behavioral Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will use your expertise in behavior analysis to support our patients and their families in managing challenging behaviors and promoting positive social interactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in applied behavior analysis and experience working with children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral disorders.   1. Provide behavioral analysis and support for children and adolescents with developmental and behavioral disorders.
  2. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Conduct functional behavior assessments and develop behavior intervention plans.
  4. Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  5. Educate and support families in managing challenging behaviors and promoting positive social interactions.
  6. Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  7. Stay up-to-date on best practices and research in applied behavior analysis.
  8. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.
  9. Maintain professional and ethical standards in all interactions.
  10. Attend meetings and trainings as required.
  11. Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
  12. Adhere to hospital policies and procedures.
  13. Ensure a safe and supportive environment for patients and their families.
  14. Represent the hospital and behavioral health services in a positive and professional manner.
  15. Continuously evaluate and improve upon treatment methods to provide the highest quality of care for patients.

Job Qualifications
  • Relevant Education And Certification: A Minimum Of A Bachelor's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or A Related Field Is Required. Certification In Applied Behavior Analysis (Aba) Is Preferred.

  • Experience Working With Children: Candidates Should Have At Least 2-3 Years Of Experience Working With Children, Preferably In A Healthcare Or Educational Setting.

  • Knowledge Of Behavioral Interventions: Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Behavioral Interventions, Including Aba Techniques, And Experience Implementing Them In A Clinical Setting.

  • Ability To Work In A Multidisciplinary Team: The Behavioral Specialist Will Work Closely With Physicians, Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals, So The Ability To Collaborate And Communicate Effectively With A Diverse Team Is Essential.

  • Empathy And Compassion: Working With Children And Families In A Hospital Setting Requires A High Level Of Empathy And Compassion. Candidates Should Have A Strong Desire To Help Children And Their Families Navigate Difficult Behavioral Challenges.
