
Behavioral Health Resource Nurse
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Behavioral Health Resource Nurse to join our team at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia. You will be part of our interdisciplinary team of professionals providing a range of specialized services to children and adolescents with mental health and behavioral health needs. The successful candidate must have a solid background in pediatric mental health care, excellent communication skills, and an understanding of the challenges faced by children and adolescents. If you have a passion for helping children and their families, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals, we want to hear from you!The ideal candidate will have a current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania, a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field, and at least two years of experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting. You must also possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. Finally, you must be committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Responsibilities:
- Provide specialized mental health care services to children and adolescents with mental health and behavioral health needs
- Maintain a current Registered Nurse license in Pennsylvania
- Possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing or a related field
- Have at least two years of experience working with children and adolescents in a mental health setting
- Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient needs and plan care accordingly
