- Develop and implement educational programs and resources for patients, families, and staff related to behavioral health and crisis management.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify and address the behavioral health needs of patients and families.
- Conduct trainings and workshops for staff on best practices for supporting patients with behavioral health concerns.
- Serve as a resource and point of contact for staff, patients, and families seeking information and support related to behavioral health and crisis management.
- Develop partnerships with community organizations and resources to enhance the availability of behavioral health services for patients and families.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs and make recommendations for improvement.
- Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of behavioral health and crisis management.
- Provide counseling and support services to patients and families as needed.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to treatment planning for patients with behavioral health concerns.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of patient interactions and progress.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures, as well as ethical and legal standards.
- Represent the hospital in a professional and compassionate manner at all times.
- Serve as an advocate for patients and families, ensuring their needs are met and their voices are heard.
- Continuously seek opportunities for professional development and growth in the field of behavioral health.
- Actively participate in hospital committees and initiatives focused on improving the mental health and well-being of patients and families.
Master's Degree In Social Work, Psychology, Or Related Field With A Focus On Behavioral Health And Crisis Intervention.
Minimum Of 3 Years Experience In Developing And Implementing Educational Programs Related To Behavioral Health And Crisis Management.
Knowledge Of Evidence-Based Practices In Behavioral Health Treatment And Crisis Intervention.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Engage Diverse Audiences And Collaborate With A Multidisciplinary Team.
Experience Working With Children And Families In A Healthcare Or Educational Setting, Preferably In A Pediatric Behavioral Health Or Crisis Center.
