Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Specialist to join our Mood Disorder Partial Hospitalization Program team.   1. Conduct intake assessments to determine the individual needs and behaviors of patients in the Mood Disorder Partial Hospitalization Program.
  2. Develop and implement individualized behavior plans for patients based on their specific needs and goals.
  3. Collaborate with other members of the treatment team, including psychiatrists, therapists, and nurses, to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
  4. Provide one-on-one support and interventions to patients during their time in the program.
  5. Monitor and track patient progress, making adjustments to behavior plans as needed.
  6. Educate and support families on behavior management techniques to use at home.
  7. Maintain accurate and thorough records of patient interactions and progress.
  8. Attend team meetings and participate in case consultations to provide insights and recommendations for patient care.
  9. Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in the field of behavior management and mood disorders.
  10. Serve as a positive role model for patients and promote a safe and therapeutic environment.
  11. Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in patient care and maintain patient confidentiality.
  12. Participate in outreach and education efforts to raise awareness about mood disorders and the services offered at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
  13. Continuously evaluate and reflect on personal performance and seek opportunities for professional growth and development.

Job Qualifications
  • Master's Degree In Psychology, Social Work, Or Related Field With A Focus On Behavior Analysis Or Behavior Therapy.

  • Minimum Of 2 Years Experience Working With Children Or Adolescents With Mood Disorders And Behavior Management.

  • Certification In Applied Behavior Analysis (Aba) Or Other Evidence-Based Behavior Intervention Techniques.

  • Knowledge Of Mental Health And Behavioral Health Systems, Including Familiarity With Dsm-5 Diagnostic Criteria.

  • Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills, With The Ability To Work Effectively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Communicate With Families And Caregivers.
