
Associate - Patient Financial Services Collections
The Associate - Patient Financial Services Collections at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is an exciting opportunity to join a team whose mission is to ensure that our patients receive the best care possible. As an Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients and families, while also ensuring effective and efficient collection and resolution of accounts.The ideal candidate should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a medical billing environment, as well as a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, and a commitment to excellent customer service. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, is also required.We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic, organized, and detail-oriented, with a passion for helping people. Your excellent communication skills and ability to build relationships will be essential to success in this role. Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families
- Ensure effective and efficient collection and resolution of accounts
- Maintain knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Build and maintain relationships with patients and families
- Think critically and creatively to identify solutions to complex billing issues
- Monitor patient accounts for accuracy and take corrective action as needed
- Remain up to date on policies and procedures related to patient collections
- Assist with the training and development of new staff
- Maintain accurate records of patient accounts and payments
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations regarding patient collections
