Job Description

At the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), we’re dedicated to creating a healthier future for children everywhere. Our Annual Giving Officer plays a critical role in our mission to provide the very best care to our patients, families, and communities. We’re seeking a creative, mission-driven professional to join our team and drive our annual giving efforts.The ideal candidate is passionate about fundraising and philanthropy, and has a track record of success in high-level annual giving campaigns. They should have excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills, and the ability to work independently as well as collaborate with colleagues. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, as well as 5+ years of experience in a fundraising role.The Annual Giving Officer will be responsible for driving strategic annual giving efforts to meet our fundraising goals. This is an opportunity to make a tremendous impact on the lives of children and families who come to CHOP.

Responsibilities:

-Develop and implement annual giving strategies to reach fundraising goals -Manage a comprehensive portfolio of annual giving donors -Create individualized giving plans and cultivate relationships with donors -Develop and execute campaigns that engage donors and donors-in-waiting -Cultivate relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners -Write and edit inspiring and persuasive donor communications -Track and analyze fundraising performance and recommend course corrections -Collaborate with other fundraising and development teams to ensure donor satisfaction and growth of the giving program -Manage and coordinate annual giving events and activities -Ensure compliance with all relevant fundraising regulations
