
Ambulatory Capacity and Utilization Manager
The Ambulatory Capacity and Utilization Manager at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) will be an integral part of CHOP's leadership team, leading our efforts to ensure optimum ambulatory care for our patients. This role requires an individual with a passion for, and commitment to, the highest level of quality and service in healthcare delivery. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator, have strong analytical skills, and demonstrate the ability to lead and motivate a team.The ideal candidate should possess a Master's degree in Health Administration or related field, along with at least five years of relevant experience in healthcare administration. We are looking for an individual with a proven track record of effective utilization management and utilization improvement initiatives, as well as a thorough understanding of healthcare regulations, coding, and reimbursement. Above all, we seek a collaborative, creative, and patient-focused leader who can help foster an environment of continuous improvement in our ambulatory care.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain optimal utilization management and utilization improvement initiatives to ensure quality and cost-effective care delivery.
- Oversee ambulatory care services, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory and reimbursement requirements.
- Analyze utilization data and make recommendations for improvement.
- Lead and motivate a team of healthcare professionals to ensure quality care and service.
- Develop and maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers.
- Work collaboratively with the CHOP leadership team to ensure optimal patient care.
- Monitor and evaluate performance metrics and make recommendations for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in healthcare delivery and utilization management.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with external partners and vendors.
