Job Description

The A/R Billing Representative role at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia is an excellent opportunity to be part of a team that is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to our patients. We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual with excellent communication and customer service skills to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for billing and collection activities for assigned accounts in a timely and accurate manner. To be successful in this role, you will need to have a minimum of two years of experience in billing, collections, or customer service within a healthcare setting. Additionally, you must be a self-motivated individual with strong organizational and problem-solving skills. You must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Responsibilities: • Bill and collect payments for assigned accounts in a timely and accurate manner. • Maintain up-to-date records of all billing and collections activities. • Provide excellent customer service to patients and their families. • Monitor accounts for delinquent payments and contact customers to resolve any payment issues. • Resolve customer inquiries promptly and professionally. • Perform other related duties as assigned. • Work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Utilize problem-solving and organizational skills to ensure efficient operations.
