Ultrasound Technician

Responsibilities:

1. Operate ultrasound equipment to capture images of internal organs and structures for diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions in pediatric patients.
2. Perform diagnostic exams according to protocols established by the hospital.
3. Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures.
4. Explain procedures to patients and/or their parents.
5. Maintain patient records and reports.
6. Monitor and maintain equipment and supplies.
7. Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
8. Adhere to hospital guidelines and regulations regarding patient safety, radiation safety, and confidentiality.
9. Participate in continuing education activities.
10. Provide support and assistance to other healthcare professionals.
