Certification: Candidates For The Sterile Processing Tech Lead Position At Children's Hospital Colorado Should Possess A Valid Certification From A Recognized Organization Such As The Certification Board For Sterile Processing And Distribution (Cbspd) Or The International Association Of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (Iahcsmm).
Previous Experience: A Minimum Of 3-5 Years Of Experience Working As A Sterile Processing Technician Is Required For This Role. Candidates With Previous Experience In A Lead Or Supervisory Role Will Be Given Preference.
Knowledge Of Industry Standards: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of Industry Standards And Guidelines For Sterile Processing, Including Aami, Aorn, And Joint Commission Regulations.
