Job Description

Do you love helping children and have a passion for working in the healthcare field? Children’s Hospital Colorado is looking for an experienced Sleep Technician to join our team. As a Sleep Technician, you will be responsible for conducting overnight sleep studies and providing support for the Sleep Center. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of medical knowledge, strong communication skills, and the ability to be organized, detail-oriented, and compassionate with our patients and their families. A minimum of one year of experience as an EEG Technician and AASM certification are required for this role.

  1. Perform overnight sleep studies and ensure accuracy of results.
  2. Report results to Sleep Center physicians and make recommendations for treatment plans.
  3. Monitor patients' sleep cycles and record data for analysis.
  4. Assist with pre-testing and post-testing of patients.
  5. Prepare and maintain patient records and databases.
  6. Instruct patients on the sleep study process and answer any questions they may have.
  7. Educate patients and family members about the importance of sleep and how to improve their sleep habits.
  8. Maintain a clean and safe sleep center environment.
  9. Complete necessary paperwork for each patient and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
  10. Work with other health care professionals to ensure quality care is provided to all patients.
