
Risk Program Manager

- Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures to ensure the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify potential hazards and areas of vulnerability within the organization.
- Collaborate with department leaders to create risk management plans and strategies for their specific areas.
- Monitor and analyze data to identify trends and patterns in risk management and make recommendations for improvement.
- Communicate regularly with senior leadership and provide updates on risk management initiatives and strategies.
- Develop and deliver risk management training and education programs for staff to ensure awareness and compliance.
- Investigate and report incidents and near-misses, and make recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all risk management activities and incidents.
- Stay up-to-date on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to risk management.
- Lead emergency preparedness efforts and assist in developing and testing emergency response plans.
- Collaborate with external partners and stakeholders to share best practices and strategies for risk management.
- Serve as a liaison between the organization and regulatory agencies during inspections and audits.
- Provide guidance and support to staff in responding to risk management related incidents.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external resources such as insurance providers and legal counsel.
- Participate in strategic planning and budgeting processes related to risk management.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Healthcare Risk Management Or Related Field.
Certified Professional In Healthcare Risk Management (Cphrm) Certification Preferred.
Strong Understanding Of State And Federal Regulations Related To Risk Management In Healthcare.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Multiple Departments And Stakeholders.
