- Provide exceptional care to pediatric patients with respiratory conditions.
- Perform diagnostic tests and assessments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of respiratory conditions.
- Create and implement treatment plans for patients based on their individual needs.
- Administer various respiratory therapies, including oxygen therapy, nebulizer treatments, and mechanical ventilation.
- Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory conditions, treatment options, and self-care techniques.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Document all patient care and treatment accurately and in a timely manner.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest developments and advancements in respiratory therapy.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment and ensure proper functioning of equipment.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills when interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Handle emergency situations calmly and efficiently.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Provide support and guidance to other respiratory therapy staff, as needed.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care.
Ability To Work Collaboratively With A Multidisciplinary Team And Provide Compassionate Care To Pediatric Patients And Their Families.
Bachelor’s Degree In Respiratory Therapy Or Related Field.
Current Certification As A Registered Respiratory Therapist (Rrt) From The National Board For Respiratory Care.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience As A Respiratory Therapist, Preferably In A Pediatric Setting.
Knowledge And Understanding Of Pediatric Respiratory Diseases And Treatments.
