Responsibilities of a Respiratory Therapist Assistant: •Assist respiratory therapists in the care and treatment of pediatric patients. •Provide respiratory care services as prescribed by physicians. •Perform respiratory procedures such as aerosol treatments, chest physiotherapy, and oxygen therapy. •Maintain patient records and prepare reports as required. •Administer medications, as necessary. •Monitor patient progress and report any changes to the respiratory therapist. •Participate in patient education and discharge planning. •Ensure that equipment is properly maintained and safety standards are met. •Maintain a positive attitude and a commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. •Maintain current licensure and adhere to all applicable laws and regulations. •Participate in continuing education programs and professional development activities.
